Pathways to Trades
In collaboration with area high schools, Greenagers, the Railroad Street Youth Project, and other construction professionals in the area, we provide access to the trades, as well as life skills and vocational training, to high school students committed to building stable futures. This partnership includes visits to construction sites, farms, and other workplaces that showcase the culture and environment of the trades in Berkshire County. In addition, the Pathways Crew engages in various trade-related jobs at April Hill, often in collaboration with the Food and Farm Team or CLuB students. They also assist Trail Crews with various building and design jobs. The program aims to connect high school students with apprenticeships.
