Development

The first nonprofit in the area to become a Receiver, Construct rehabilitates neglected properties, and we develop new buildings to provide more affordable housing options in our communities. We also provide the following services to ensure affordable housing in the southern Berkshires: 

• Rehab Partnerships – We partner with other organizations to rehabilitate neglected properties.
• Property Management – We provide upkeep of our buildings and properties, so they are safe and maintained for our clients.
• Housing Consulting – We coach our clients on affordable housing compliance, fair housing, funding sources, mediation, property management, fair housing marketing plans and other processes to get projects off the ground.
• Technical Assistance – We consult with other towns and organizations in an effort to help them achieve their affordable housing goals, including feasibility studies, needs assessments, housing production plans and grant writing.
